Google has updated its overhauled camera once again, bringing back the timer function that was absent when the app debuted.
The standalone Android camera app, compatible with most devices, has done wonders for users unhappy with the generally heavy-handed OEM software. This new version adds a 16:9 aspect ratio options, which allows devices with native 4:3 sensors to shoot cropped widescreen photos.
The timer, as stated above, can be set for three or 10 seconds, which is generally enough time for tripods or selfie preparation.
Finally, Google has added a couple of new panorama options, allowing users to create vistas in one of four varieties, including fisheye.
The update is rolling out slowly to users, but you can download and sideload the APK if desired.
