Rdio plans to add Chromecast support to its iOS and Android apps in a future update. After I tweeted the company to ask whether this was in their timeline, an @RdioHelp rep responded, “Our team is already working on developing support for Chromecast. Stay tuned!”
In an interesting twist, they then deleted their tweet and merely responded, “Stay tuned!” Looks like somebody let the cat out of the bag too early.

While the Chromecast isn’t officially available in Canada just yet, it’s not difficult to obtain (for a bit of a premium on top of its $35 USD price) and works with all supported apps (provided they aren’t geographically restricted).
