Earlier this week we let you know that Bell and Virgin will exclusively bring the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X to Canadians on January 28th.
This is Alcatel’s flagship 5-inch Android and will come priced well under $300 (we’re hearing $250). The specs are decent for the price point, but if you’re unsure about Alcatel as a manufacturer and want to give them a go with less investment, then perhaps the Alcatel OneTouch Idol mini is for you.
We’ve been informed that this will hit both carriers lineup on January 28th in “slate grey.” As for specs of the “mini,” this sport a 4.3-inch IPS display, 5MP camera, 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 1700mAh non-removable battery, runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and is hooked onto their HSPA+ network (only up to 21Mbps). The no-term price is set at $99.95.
More soon.
(Thanks tipster!)
