One of the biggest devices to hit Canada is now available from Bell.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra is big. This true tablet/phone hybrid has a 6.4-inch 1080p Triluminos display, a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage with expandable storage, an 8MP Exmor RS camera with a 2 MP front-facing camera, and runs Android 4.2.2.
To give you an overall size of this beast, the Xperia Z Ultra is 179 x 92 x 6.5 mm and weighs in at 212 grams. One of its competitors, the Galaxy Note 3 has a 5.7-inch display and is 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3mm with a weight of 168 grams. In addition, the recently announced HTC One Max has a 5.9-inch display and is 164.5 x 82.5 x 10.29mm and weighs in at 217 grams. So the Xperia Z Ultra is packed with power, but is thin and light for its size.
Prices are $799.95 outright or $249.95 on a 2-year.

Update: Sony Canada has just sent out a Tweet that says the Xperia Z Ultra is also available unlocked at the Sony Store – not so exclusive after all. In addition, the price is $749.99 outright.
