TELUS recently announced plans to invest millions of dollars into expanding their LTE network – this is part of a massive project to reach 25 million Canadians by the end of 2012. Coverage has been improved in both Montreal & Calgary, but has now expanded into Barrie, Bolton, Orangeville, St. Thomas, Kingston and Muskoka. Those locations now join others in Canada such as Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Kitchener, Waterloo, Hamilton, Ottawa, Québec City, Halifax and Yellowknife. TELUS’ LTE network reaches average speed of 12-25 Mbps.
