The Samsung Galaxy Note has been out for just a week, but it’s already fallen victim to the hackers over at XDA-Developers. While there are currently no custom ROMs to flash, a user by the name of Da_G has managed to root the Galaxy Note i717. While you will need to be familiar with Samsung’s flashing tool Odin3, and there is a chance your warranty may be voided, if you’ve decided rooting is for you, there’s little chance of regretting the decision.
