The day has arrived. Today, February 14th, 2011, the Samsung Galaxy Note has officially launched. This 5.3-inch phone/tablet is now available to all Canadians from Bell, TELUS and Rogers. This will come with Android OS 2.3.6 Gingerbread with TouchWIZ, but is on an upgrade path to OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sometime before May. Other specs of this beast has it powered by a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, the display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and is made of Gorilla Glass. The Note weighs in at 178 grams and is yet another LTE-enabled device, but will fall back to the carriers HSPA+ network speeds. As for pricing, the no-term ranges from $699 – $779; while the price drops to $199.99 on a 3-year at all carriers.
