LG has announced the Optimus LTE – a powerhouse Android 2.3 Gingerbread that has a 4.5–inch “True HD IPS” display (resolution of 1280 x 720), 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera that captures 720p HD videos, a 1.3 front-facing camera, 1,830 mAh battery, HDMI, DLNA, Wi-Fi all wrapped tightly into into a smartphone that’s only 10.4 mm thin. Overall it’s incredibly impressive. Before we all get too excited, the official press release stated the “Optimus LTE in markets outside of Korea has not yet been determined”. LG Canada sent us an email that “we don’t have any information regarding a Canadian launch, we’re keeping our fingers crossed”… perhaps it’ll end up on either Rogers or Bell’s LTE network.
