The Motorola XOOM with Wi-Fi was first released in Canada by Best Buy and Future Shop. Then TELUS brought on the Android 3.0 – soon to be OS 3.1 but no confirmed date – tablet. Now it seems the XOOM is available in every other big Canadian retailer. A press release was sent out stating that Costco, Walmart, London Drugs, Bureau En Gros, Staples, Sears Canada, and Amazon are new distribution partners. Hopefully we’ll soon see a price drop but the lowest advertised no-term cost is $596 at Costco.
