Bell is prepping to release a device that is targeted to the “Mobile Worker”. The Motorola ES400 will operate on their CDMA network and is an Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA). Specs of the ES400 has a 600 MHz processor, operates on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional, 3-inch VGA touch display (resolution of 640 x 480), full QWERTY keyboard, holds up to 32GB with a microSD, GPS, WiFi, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, push e-mail and a biometric fingerprint reader. Overall dimensions are 129 x 60.4 x 16.4 mm and weighs in at a hefty 156 grams. The ES400 looks like it would be helpful as it can perform real time action such as checking inventory, reading bar codes, take signatures and accessing other important info.
We’ve got no word on price points but this will be released in the next few weeks. There’s a video of the device in action I found on YouTube
