The newest Android has hit Rogers and it’s the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini. It’s like the little baby of all the Androids because it so incredibly small (80x50x16mm) and weighs a light 88 grams. It runs Android OS 1.6 but will be upgraded to 2.1 in Q4. Specs wise you’re looking at a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen display with resolution of 240×320, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, WiFi, GPS, Rogers is throwing in a 4GB microSD card and can cold up to 16GB. Just like the X10 it’s got Sony Ericsson’s infinite button and Timescape. Also, in the box it ships with a few removable back plates that come in black, pink and green. Earlier this week I got a quick demo of the X10 mini… check out the video after the break:
You would expect a small price tag on this Android and here’s what Rogers has put together:
3-year contract: $29.99 (with Voice & Data plan)
2-year contract: $274.99 (with Voice & Data plan)
1-year contract: $324.99
No-contract: $374.99
