Too bad Telus won’t let old users carry over their current plans to the new HSPA network… That ain’t the way way to do business, Telus!

So, does that mean it’s either a 3 year contract or no contract? Will there be 1 or 2 year contract pricing?

It’s pretty disappointing to see that they are not doing away with the three year contracts.

As expected the pricing is the same, though Rogers is $20 less with no contract. Apple must have something to do with pricing. I hope the plans are more competitive and offer tethering at no extra cost. However I still have many months left in my contract, I am doubtful they will give me the 3 yr pricing. I picked up the HTC Touch Aug 08, phone was crap, exchanged it three times for a couple reasons which would cause it to not work sometimes. So now I have a crappy $99 Samsung on a non-data plan and still in a contract. Looks like nobody won there, so we’ll see whether they hold me to it or not. It is cheaper to pay the cancellation fee and start anew than to buy the iPhone w/o contract. 3 yrs is a long time in this day and age when it comes to tech.
