Looks like those rumours that started last week about Samsung unveiling their next flagship Android – the Galaxy S IV – on March 14th in New York are absolutely true. According to a report in Reuters, JK Shin, Samsung’s Head of Mobile, stated “We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year, and this time we changed the venue (to New York)… as we were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country.”
The GS IV is a follow-up to the widely popular Galaxy S, Galaxy SII and Galaxy III which recently surpassed 100 million units sold. As for specs, the Galaxy S IV is rumoured to come with a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display, Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP that shoots 1080p HD videos, 2MP front-facing camera and running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
