Galaxy Note gets official teardown courtesy of… Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy Note is getting closer and closer to a Canadian reality, but in the meantime you can get a load of what you’re in for with an official teardown from Samsung itself. The Samsung Tomorrow blog takes us through a series of dissection photos, from the custom digitizer for the S-Pen to the LTE chipset and WACOM IC.

What’s interesting is that it looks like the outside has been modeled after the international version, which incorporates a HSPA+ chip and 1.4Ghz Exynos processor, while the insides of this model calls for the North American LTE version with its Qualcomm 1.5Ghz Snapdragon S3 processor and LTE combo.

Nevertheless, it’s amazing to see how much stuff is packed into such a small space. We’ll be very interested to see how the digitizer affects touch responsiveness on the device (if at all) and whether those tiny pixels will be detectable on the 5.3-inch 1280×800 resolution HD Super AMOLED display.
