Latest Pixel 11 leak: big camera upgrade, zero temperature sensor

Instead of a temperature sensor, the Pixel 11 could sport a tiny LED display

Google Pixel 10

Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 could sport some notable upgrades this year, including better cameras and even an LED display on the back of the phone.

Leaker ‘Mystic Leaks’ has shared a lot of details about the upcoming phone on their Telegram channel. The information leaked includes the phone’s colour variants, black, green, pink and purple.

Most importantly, the Pixel 11 will feature a 50MP primary shooter, which would be an upgrade from the 48MP camera in its predecessor. While it doesn’t sound like a huge upgrade, it might be noteworthy if the camera also comes with a larger pixel size and wider aperture.

The Pixel 11 will reportedly have an RGB LED array in the camera bar, which will be a part of the company’s rumoured Pixel Glow feature. Google would be ditching the temperature sensor for this Pixel Glow on the Pro series, but it might be worth it if Pixel Glow is good.

We’re waiting to learn more about what Google has to offer at I/O, scheduled for May 19 to 20, where we might learn more about the company’s upcoming Android tweaks and possibly even new hardware.
