Dedicated Gemini app is now available on iOS

You can download it through the App Store

As previously seen in the Philippines, Google’s Gemini app is coming to the iPhone. It will be available to download in 35 languages on the App Store worldwide.

Previously, Gemini was only available on the Google app or a web browser on iOS. Still, the Gemini app allows for a more streamlined experience and gives iPhone users access to Gemini Live. Gemini Live on iOS is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Portuguese, Arabic, Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Turkish and Vietnamese, with more languages coming soon.

The app will be available starting November 14th, but the exact timing depends on when Apple publishes it in your country.

Gemini will also have Extensions that connect with Google apps like Maps, Gmail, Calendar, YouTube and more. You can insert a schedule into Gemini, and with Extensions, Gemini can slot these all into your calendar. Other features include creating images with text descriptions, studying with Gemini and allowing users to have a free-flowing conversation with Gemini Live, allowing you to brainstorm, ask questions, or ask for advice.

Since the iPhone 16 series was released, I’ve been switching between it and my Pixel 9 series devices. On the iPhone 16, I’ve been using the Apple Intelligence beta, but so far, I’d much rather use Gemini because of its Extensions and the ability to read what’s on your screen.
