This leak comes from X user Jukanlosreve. Apple has set the launch of the iPhone SE 4 for March 2025, and earlier reports suggest a similar timeframe for the phone.
Furthermore, it looks like Apple will use a camera module made by LG Innotek. The South Korean news publication Aju News says that LG has decided to start mass-producing this camera module sometime in December. The company is conducting some final tests before the start of mass production.
According to Jukanlosreve, LG supplies modules about three months before a handset’s release, which points to next March.
Rumours suggest this phone will sport a 48-megapixel camera module, which should offer a better experience than the 12-megapixel sensor on last year’s model. Additionally, it looks like the handset may sport a top-left corner camera placement with LED. Additional rumours indicate the handset could sport a 6.1-inch OLED display, the same as the iPhone 13. There’s also possibly a ‘Plus’ variant on the horizon.
We’ll learn more about these devices in the upcoming months.
