Vancouver-based Telus has dropped the prices of some plans by $5/mo.
As of September 16th, Telus’ website lists its ‘5G+ Premium Unlimited’ plan at $95/mo ($90 with autopay), down from $100/mo ($95 with autopay). Additionally, Telus adjusted the price for the plan with its Home Services customers to $70/mo from the previous $75 price.
However, Telus also changed some of what’s included with the plan. That included reducing the data bucket from 200GB to 150GB and removing some bonuses like unlimited Canada/U.S. usage and unlimited international messaging. Moreover, the plan no longer includes $0 data sharing for the first connected device customers financing from Telus on a two-year term.
Telus also changed its ‘5G+ Premium Unlimited Canada-U.S.-Mexico’ plan, dropping the price from $115 ($110 with autopay) to $110 ($105 with autopay). Unlike the other plan, this one saw minimal changes, with Telus only removing the international messaging bonus.
Beyond the $95 and $110 plans, Telus’ other plans maintain the same pricing and data buckets:
- $85/150GB 5G+ ($80 with autopay)
- $80/75GB 5G ($75 with autopay)
- $70/75GB 5G ($65 with autopay)
- $30 talk and text ($25 with autopay)
