If you haven’t ordered an iPhone 16 yet, Freedom Mobile has a pretty spectacular deal for Apple Watch users.
The deal is in-store only, but if you pre-order any of the new iPhone 16 or 16 Pro models, you can get a free aluminum Apple Watch Series 10 (42mm) with cellular connectivity. This is a decent deal, but you need to sign up for a monthly plan of at least $65, including the $10 Apple Watch plan.
The minimum plan you need to get with your phone is the Canada/U.S./Mexico 100GB 5G plan with 30GB of ‘Roam Beyond,’ Freedom’s international roaming bucket. This plan costs $65 per month after Freedom’s autopay discount and a $5 discount that Freedom will apply to your plan for 18 months.
To get the watch credits, you must also add the $10 per month Apple Watch data plan and finance a watch from Freedom within 30 days. Once you do, Freedom will apply a $28 credit to your monthly account for 24 months, totalling $679—the cost of a 42mm cellular watch. As long as supplies last, you can get the watch in either Jet Black, Rose Gold, or Aluminium.
That means the price of the watch and phone plans together will be $75 per month for 18 months, then $80 for the remaining six months of the plan. This price does not include the cost of the phone, those are listed below. But for example, if you get an iPhone 16, it will cost around $122 per month for the phone, watch and both data plans.
This also does not include Freedom’s TradeUp pricing, so you will own your phone at the end of your two-year contract, which is a good place to be in since modern phones last a lot longer than 2-3 years. That said, the MyTab phone financing costs considerably more per month than the TradeUp financing.

You can redeem the deal and add the watch to your new iPhone pre-order until October 31, while quantities last, and it can’t be redeemed online. That means you will have to pay the $45 connection fee in stores for both your watch and phone ($90 total). That said, most other carriers offer $70 connection fees, so by comparison, this is a bit of a deal.
