A new report has surfaced claiming that unionized workers at Raven Software, which helps support large Call of Duty titles like Warzone and newer Black Ops games, have been striving to reach a workplace contract since the union was formed in 2022 but have been unable to do so because of pushback from the studio.
When the company got scooped up when Microsoft acquired Activision, it had hoped that the larger parent company would help it finalize a deal, but since then, it seems like Raven employees are still being largely ignored.
According to the Game File newsletter, the union representing the Raven Studios game developers filed a claim with the National Labour Relations Board in the U.S., stating that Raven Software and its parent companies, Activision and Microsoft, are refusing to bargain in good faith.
So far, nothing concrete has stemmed from the complaint, but Microsoft did tell Game File that it was committed to negotiating in good faith.
