Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra rumoured to be thinnest and lightest big flagship

The handset is expected to launch not until early next year

The Samsung Galaxy S25 is still a few months from launching, but a new leak showcases details about the upcoming handset.

According to Ice Universe, the S25 Ultra will be the thinnest and lightest of all the larger flagships, including the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

For comparison, the S24 Ultra weighs about 233g and is 8.6mm thick, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is 8.3mm thick and weighs 221g, which means the S25 Ultra will be thinner and lighter.

While reducing the weight of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be great, I hope that Samsung doesn’t reduce the smartphone’s battery size. The S24 Ultra sports a 5,000mAh battery, and that’s barely enough.
