Are you excited for any games in the last stretch of 2024?

Mandragora, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Star Wars Outlaws, so many games in the next four months

It’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, where many developers show gameplay for their upcoming titles. Because of the yearly event, I’ve got myself thinking about video games, what’s coming out later this year, and which games have the potential to become the Game of the Year.

Before the end of the year we still have Astro Bot, Frostpunk 2, Enotria: The Last Song, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of WisdomMetaphor: ReFantzio, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Sonic x Shadow Generations, Slitterhead, Canada’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon Age: The Veilguard and so many more.

There are so many game of the year contenders in here, among other titles that came out this year, including Black Myth: Wukong, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Sand Land, and so many more.

While 2023 has been praised for a year of gaming, with titles like Stellar Blade, Senua’s Saga Hellblade II and those upcoming games, maybe 2024 is the year we should be looking at.

The upcoming game Mandragora is a Metroidvania with Soulslike elements, so I’m incredibly excited about this title, probably more excited for this Indie title than the likes of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

How about you? Are you excited about anything coming out before the end of the year? Let us know in the comments below if you think 2024 is a good year for games.
