Windows Mixed Reality headsets are now available in Canada

Microsoft’s lineup of Windows Mixed Reality headsets are now available for purchase in Canada. The PC-compatible headsets, which are made by prominent hardware manufacturers and powered by Windows technology, offer interactive experiences which merge the real and virtual worlds.

Starting today, Canadians will be able to buy the following Windows Mixed Reality headsets on the Microsoft Store:

  • Acer Windows Mixed Reality Headset — costs $599 CAD, order here
  • Dell Visor — costs $589, order here
  • HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset — costs $599, order here
  • Lenovo Explorer — costs $549 CAD, order here

On October 3rd, Microsoft also revealed the Samsung HMD Odyssey, the South Korean tech giant’s first mixed reality headset. The HMD Odyssey is set to launch on November 3rd for $649 and can be pre-ordered here.

As well, Asus will be releasing its own Windows Mixed Reality headset, which is set to launch sometime in spring 2018.

Microsoft’s Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is also available starting today.
