The successor to LG’s power-focused budget phone, the LG X Power will arrive at Bell on June 22nd, according to information obtained by MobileSyrup.
The LG X Power 2 stocks a massive 4,500mAh battery and runs on an octa-core 1.5GHz Cortex-a53 MediaTek MT6750 chipset, which LG says provides the device with a weekend’s worth of charge or, in more technical terms, sustains 15 hours of video playback or 14 hours of direction navigation.

That’s an impressive claim, but one that the company may be able to uphold, considering I was able to get about two days of use out of the original 4,100mAh battery-powered LG X Power.
The device also has a 5.5-inch 720p display and a 13-megapixel rear camera/5-megapixel front camera package, both with flash. RAM will come in at 2GB or 1.5GB depending on model with 16GB of internal storage with MicroSD support. The device is shipping with Android Nougat 7.0.
While MobileSyrup received no further information about pricing, the phone will likely come in at a budget price similar to its predecessor, which cost $250 CAD outright.
