Huawei has revealed that its Nova Plus smartphone will launch in Canada “as early as October 18th 2016.”
The mid-range phone is set to be carried by Rogers, Virgin Mobile and Fido, though Canadian pricing, as well as an official release date, have yet to be revealed.
“We continue to see a growing demand for Huawei smartphones in Canada and we are confident the new NOVA Plus will bring Canadians the same high quality features and stylish design that have helped make Huawei one of the world’s most popular smartphone brands,” said Huawei Canada president Sean Yang.
Specs wise, the Huawei Nova Plus measures in at 151.8 x 75.7 x 7.3mm and weighs 160g. The phone features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD 1080 x 1920 display, microSD slot (expandable up to 256GB), 32GB of internal storage, 3GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 625 processor. The camera rear camera features an f/2.0 aperture with a 16 megapixel shooter, with the front camera coming in at 8 megapixels and f/2.0.
