Google’s Android Developer blog has officially announced a new indie game-focused Android festival set to take place at San Francisco’s Terra Gallery on September 24th, 2016.
Studios interested in showcasing their title at the Google Play Indie Games Festival can apply to do so via Google’s official submissions page. Google says it’s accepting applications through to August 14th.
The event is reportedly completely free, even for attendees who aren’t Android developers.
Google says that selections will be made based on the quality of their games, with a heavy emphasis on unique gameplay mechanics. U.S. and Canadian developers with 15 or fewer staff members are eligible to enter and games must have been published during 2016 to qualify.
