LG Stylo 2 Plus phablet comes to Fido, Rogers and Wind for $350 outright

LG’s latest budget phablet phone, the Stylo 2 Plus is now available in Canada, offering a 5.7-inch 1080 x 1920 pixel display and 1.4 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, for $350 outright from Rogers and Fido.

This is a power-up from the Stylo 2, released in April 2016 and unlikely to make its way to Canada, which features a 720 x 1280 pixel display of the same size and holds a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor.

The Stylo 2 Plus is equipped with a stylus (of course), back-mounted fingerprint sensor and 13 megapixel rear-facing camera with laser autofocus. Under the hood, it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be upped by MicroSD card. Its battery brings 3,000 mAh of juice.

At Fido the handset will be $125 down on a two-year Plus10 plan, and $0 down on a two-year Plus15 plan. It will also be a Fido Fave phone, meaning it comes with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty. At Rogers, the device will be $0 down on Smart and Premium plans.

Both brands will sell the Stylo 2 Plus for $350 outright.

Update: Fido has now listed the 5.7-inch Android on its site, available for all to purchase.

Update #2: Wind Mobile has also released the LG Stylo Plus 2. The cost is $249 outright or as low as $0 on the WindTab.
