A number of Nexus and Android Wear products have been temporarily discounted on the Google Store, which launched earlier this year.
Likely the most significant discount is that of the Nexus 6, which has been dropped by 20% to $599 CAD for the 32GB version and $649 for the 64GB variant. Both colours, blue and white, are available and ready to ship in 1 -2 business days.
Still a great phone, the Nexus 6 has been criticized for being too large, and with a middling camera, but ultimately it is the best choice for getting the latest version of Android the soonest.
Also discounted are a couple of Android Wear watches: the Moto 360 is down $100 to $179.99, and the Sony SmartWatch 3 $50 to $229.99.
On the tablet side, the Nexus 9 hasn’t received any discounts — it is still $429 for the 16GB version and $529 for the 32GB model — but each one comes with a $60 Google Play credit.
Similarly – and this isn’t a new one – each Chromecast purchase gets $20 in Google Play credit.
