Eastlink offering $200 to those who port over from competing wireless carriers

Eastlink is tempting wireless users with a new offer for customers with competing companies. The regional carrier’s latest promotion offers up $200 for anyone who ports their number over and activates a new account.

The fine print states that you can either purchase a new phone or bring your current device with you, but you have to sign up on Eastlink’s easyTabplus option with a minimum 500MB of data plan.

Depending on the cancelation fee from your current carrier, the $200 from Eastlink could be worth it, especially with the new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge launch coming up. Eastlink notes that new customers should, “Allow 4 to 8 weeks for the bill credit to be applied to your account from the time of submission date.” This offer is only valid for a limited time (and subject to certain conditions, which can be found at the link below).
