HTC will unveil its latest One flagship on March 1st at an event in Barcelona, the day before Mobile World Congress begins.
The company sent out a teaser image with the words, “utopia in progress,” so clearly HTC’s next device is going to be a spaceship.
HTC has struggled to turn around its flagging smartphone sales, but posted a surprising revenue spike last quarter on momentum from its mid-range Desire line.
The new One series device is rumoured to forgo the company’s UltraPixel technology in favour of a more traditional camera sensor. Codenamed ‘Hima’, the flagship is expected to sport a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 20.7MP rear camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop running Sense 7.0.
