Google recently announced its second round of Project Ara developer events, and now its Phonebloks partner is giving us a look at what developers can expect when they get their demonstration of the Project Ara prototype.
The Phonebloks team traveled to Boston to visit NK Labs, the small engineering company Google has tasked with building the first Project Ara phone. The video deals with the difficulties in engineering a device that has swappable parts. Not only does everything need to be individually packaged with no physical ties to the main board, but there needs to be room for developers to execute their own ideas.
We don’t get a lot of information on the phone itself, just how the seven engineers working at NK Labs have worked to make Google’s vision a reality. Still, it’s an interesting watch, so check it out below:
