LG is poised to unveil its next flagship device on May 27th and it also seems the company will eventually offer a Windows Phone 8 device. Reputable device leaker @evleaks has posted an image of what is now known as the ‘LG Uni8.’ The overall design is similar to the G2 with its small bezel, on-screen buttons, and large display, but clearly runs Windows Phone 8.1.
The last time LG released a Windows Phone in Canada was back in 2010 with the Optimus 7. In February, Microsoft mentioned LG was one of the upcoming hardware partners who were set to release a Windows Phone in 2014. Unfortunately, there is no mention of when the LG Uni8 will be released or on which carriers.
