SaskTel has released one of two new rugged Sonim devices.
The Bolt 2 XP5560 is a Push-to-talk (PTT) phone and is meant for heavy wear and tear. This 190 gram phone is IP-68 and certified for the US military to handle “extreme temperatures, vibration/shock, rain, blowing sand/dust, humidity.” The Bolt 2 has a 2-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera with LED flash and torch light for those dark areas, 16GB internal storage, NFC and has a 1,950 mAh battery.
Cost for durability? SaskTel has priced the Bolt 2 at $399.99 outright or as low as $149.99 on a 2-year. SaskTel will also be launching the Sonim Bolt 2 XP5560IS in the coming days.
