Looks like TELUS has come out with some sort of a version of a Tab offering. Higher upfront cost with a lower monthly price plan – which also includes a minimum amount of data (200MB). Straight from an internal doc:
“In order to give our customers an increased range of options on 2 year terms, TELUS has introduced as a promotion the availability of select Smartphone devices on Small Business SharePlus Smartphone Lite plans, with a minimum rate plan commitment of $45 per month.
The price of the Smartphone device will be $150 more on a 2 year term with a $45 per month minimum rate plan commitment, vs. the standard 2 year pricing that comes with a $70 per month minimum rate plan commitment.
For example: If the 2 year price on the Samsung Galaxy S4 is $99 (with a minimum commitment of $70), when activating on a 2 year Small Business SharePlus Smartphone Lite rate plan (with a minimum commitment of $45), the price of the device will be $249.”
The eligible list of devices includes:
– BlackBerry Q10
– BlackBerry Z10
– BlackBerry Z30
– BlackBerry Bold 9900
– HTC One
– LG G2
– Nokia Lumia 1020
– Samsung Galaxy S3
– Samsung Galaxy S4
– Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini
– Samsung Galaxy Note II
– Samsung Galaxy Note III
– Samsung Galaxy Mega
– Sony Z1
This is available on a minimum $45/month Smartphone Lite plan or $60/month Small Business SharePlus plan. Interested?
