HTC officially announced the One mini today. This is a follow-up to their popular HTC One, but comes with a smaller build. The complete list of One mini specs are below and this mid-range Android is mainly made from aluminum, but the front and sides are polycarbonate. This “compact version” comes with the UltraPixel Camera with HTC Zoe, HTC BlinkFeed (now including Instagram), HTC BoomSound and Beats Audio:
– 4.3-inch S-LCD3 display with 1280 x 720 resolution (341 ppi)
– 1.4GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU
– 1GB of RAM
– 16GB of storage (no microSD card)
– Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5, BlinkFeed
– 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera with HTC Zoe support
– 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera
– 132 x 63.2 x 9.25mm
– Weight: 122g
– LTE support
– Bluetooth 4.0
– 1,800mAH non-removable battery
According to the press release, HTC plans on launching the One mini to ‘select markets from August and rolled out globally from September’ in both ‘Glacial Silver and Stealth Black.’ No specific word on a Canadian release or pricing.
Update: We reached out to HTC Canada representatives and they stated to us that “Unfortunately the Mini is not coming to Canada.”
