Apple’s iPhone 5 event is proving to packed with info so far. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, took the stage and said “It’s an amazing time at Apple” and gave some new stats. In total there are now 380 Apple retail stores in 12 countries, Canada has 26, and over 83 million walked through to get an “Apple experience.” Since launching in July of 2008 the App Store has over apps 700,000 apps, with 250,000 available for the iPad. Cook noted that the average customer has download over 100 apps.
