HTC and cloud-based storage company Dropbox have partnered up that will make Android users happy. HTC is feeling generous and also feeling the competition from Apple’s iCloud and Microsoft’s SkyDrive, they have confirmed on Twitter that users will be getting 5GB of Dropbox storage for free. Usually Dropbox gives you 2GB when you subscribe, but HTC is extending another 3GB to Android users – no word on other platforms yet. All you have to do is download the Dropbox app from the Android Market and you’re good to go, however, this is only available to those who have devices running Sense 3.5.
