BlackBerry 10 seems to be finding its feet with developers; updates are coming in daily to existing apps, and outfits are announcing new ones of significance.
A big barrier to adoption will be checked off the list next week as WhatsApp for BlackBerry 10, in all its native Cascades glory, will be launched for the platform. Alex Kinsella, head of PR for BlackBerry Developers, “predicted” this on his Twitter account:
Prediction for next week – You’ll be downloading WhatsApp on your #BlackBerryZ10.

What’s great about this is not only that WhatsApp agreed to build a native app for BlackBerry 10, but that it will be used as an example for developers to take a risk on the platform. At least that’s what we’re hoping for.
What other apps would you like to see make their way to BB10 in the near future?
