The Nexus S is a “pure Google” experience and will be coming to Canada soon. The word on the street is that it’ll be available the first week of April through several carriers: TELUS, Bell, Rogers, Videotron, WIND and Mobilicity have all in one way or another confirmed this will be available to their customers.
We got our hands on an upcoming press release for the Nexus S, specifically from Future Shop. Loaded in the release is confirmation that the Nexus S is “available early April” and that pre-orders start on Monday, March 21st. In addition, Future Shop brings stellar news that both Koodo Mobile and Fido will be releasing the Android device. Future Shop announces preorders for the much-hyped Nexus S from Google smartphone
New Nexus S from Google and accessories coming to all 146 Future Shop locations and Futureshop.ca(Burnaby, BC) March 17, 2011 – Starting Monday, March 21, 2011, Future Shop, Canada’s largest retailer and etailer of consumer electronics, is accepting pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nexus S from Google smartphone.
