Samsung denies rumours of the Galaxy S IV

Yesterday rumours spread from a report in the Korea Times that the Galaxy S IV was in development – coming with a massive 5-inch display – and will be announced at Mobile World Congress in February, then become available globally in March.

However, Samsung took to Twitter and declared that the rumours are simply not true. They said, via Google Translate, “Please note that some media reported speculation that the Galaxy S III subsequent models will be released in a simple rumor is not true.”

So there you have it. We can all go back to loving the GS III, which Samsung has pegged to sell 30 million units this year. It’s evident that Samsung will be launching a follow-up to the Galaxy S III, it’s just a matter of when.
