Rogers customers reporting active LTE network in Windsor and Barrie

By the end of this year Rogers is planning to have 60% of Canada covered with LTE speeds, bringing 20 million Canadians faster speeds. This past year has seen Rogers go live in Ottawa, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary. Some of the new areas that Rogers has committed to cover LTE (Long Term Evolution) with is in Ajax, Cambridge, Edmonton, Kitchener, Windsor, Victoria.

If you’re living, or visiting, either Barrie or Windsor you might have picked up a Rogers LTE signal. We’ve been tipped that the network is currently live – probably still in testing – but unfortunately there’s no word on when the official switch will be turned on. According to the above screenshot shows the Rogers LTE network is alive an kicking in Windsor, topping download speeds of 41.03 Mbps.
