Rogers announced yesterday that the Nokia X7 will be released this Summer, a device that will run off the new Symbian Anna OS. The highlights of this new OS is that it has “fresh” icons, faster browser, improved text input and a new version of Ovi Maps. Nokia stated in April that N8, C7, C6-01 users will have the option to eventually upgrade… and it looks like you can pencil in the “end of August”. On the company blog Nokia wrote that “Upgrading to a ‘new look’ phone is free and easy. You can update your device with your PC or over-the-air from the software updater in the phone”.
