Travel Alberta launches Pokémon Go-focused tour in Calgary

Travel Alberta, the government agency responsible for promoting tourism in the province, has launched a Pokémon Go tour that lets players travel around Calgary with other trainers.

The bus tour starts and ends at Calgary’s Village Ice Cream, Victoria Park location. It makes a number of stops around the city and focuses on helping attendees meet new friends and capture Pokemon.

Demand for the tour was reportedly so high that tickets sold out in just 20 minutes.

In other Pokemon Go related news, a pair of children inadvertently sparked an international incident after accidentally crossing the U.S. border between Alberta and Montana while playing the game.
