After last night’s announcement about Windows 10, all we can think about is when Windows 10 for phones and small tablets going to be available. Today, Windows Central is bringing us back down to earth with word of the Lumia Denim update for Windows Phone 8.1 users.

Windows Central says its received word from multiple users that the Lumia Denim update is now rolling out to the Lumia 830 users in Canada. Though Microsoft hasn’t made any official announcement, Windows Central cites reader tips in reporting that its rolling out on Rogers, Bell, and “other carriers.”

Last we heard, Microsoft had started rolling out the update to Lumia 520, 620, 625, 920, and 1020, though Microsoft’s update page shows that Denim has yet to hit Canadians versions of the above devices.

Even so, not all Denim is created equal. As any Windows Phone fan knows, the Lumia 830 was the first phone to ship with Denim, also known as Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1, but it was a stunted version of the software. Specifically, the Denim that shipped on the 830 didn’t have all the features Microsoft promised, like the Lumia Camera update with rich capture and fast start. That’s what this update will fix.
