Prime Video reveals its hockey schedule for January

Hockey is back on Prime for 2026

NHL Prime Video

Amazon’s streaming service, Prime Video, has revealed the upcoming hockey games that will be broadcast on the platform throughout January. This includes the National Hockey League (NHL), and Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) on both Monday and Tuesday.

To add some context, Prime Video has become one of the NHL’s major broadcasters since joining the foray a few seasons ago, gaining access to both Monday and Tuesday night NHL and PWHL games.

This month, Prime will carry three primetime NHL games and three key PWHL matchups alongside its scheduled NHL Coast to Coast programming.

As a small note, two events on Prime Video’s calendar (Detroit Red Wings vs. Ottawa Senators, New York Sirens vs Toronto Sceptres) have already taken place, but they were not included in the list below.

With that in mind, here is the (almost) full list for every game that Prime Video will be broadcasting:

  • January 12: Prime Monday Night Hockey — Vancouver Canucks vs. Montreal Canadiens at 7:30 PM ET.
  • January 13: PWHL — Ottawa Charge vs. Montreal Victoire at 7:00 PM ET.
  • January 19:  Prime Monday Night Hockey — Minnesota Wild vs. Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:30 PM ET.
  • January 20: PWHL — Toronto Sceptres vs. Seattle Torrent at 10:00 PM ET.
  • January 20: PWHL — Ottawa Charge vs. New York Sirens at 7:00 PM ET.
  • January 26: Prime Monday Night Hockey — Anaheim Ducks vs. Edmonton Oilers at 8:30 PM ET.
  • On Thursday Nights: NHL Coast to Coast, the NHL’s analysis show on the Prime network, will continue in the month of January. Host Andi Petrillo will be joined by content creators, special guests, and other expert analysts from around the league alongside highlights. The show will air at 7:00 PM ET.

If this schedule sounds intriguing, you can sign up for Prime Video for $8.25/mo (or $99/year), or if you hate ads (who doesn’t?), you can pay an additional $2.99/mo to avoid them. There is also a 30-day free trial if you want to use Prime Video only for this month of games.

Also advertised on the website is the ability to manage some streaming subscriptions (TSN/Sportsnet, CityTV+, Crave, Apple TV, Paramount+, to name a few) through Prime Video directly.
