Alongside the base iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, Apple has introduced the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Both new iPhone 17 Pro models have that cool design, with the Pro offering a 6.3-inch display and the Pro Max featuring a 6.9-inch screen.
Similar to the iPhone Air, the new Ceramic Shield protects both the back and the front of the handset. The new iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max offer a new Apple-designed vapour chamber with deionized water to help keep thermals down and to maintain performance. The company says its new aerospace alloy offers 20x better thermals than the previous Apple titanium. The glass on the back has been replaced by Ceramic Shield, which is 4x more resistant to glass than previous models.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max will have the best battery ever on an iPhone; however, the eSIM-only models will have even have a bigger battery optimizing the space where the SIM would be. This model has two hours more battery life than the other models.

On the front has the 18-megapixel Centre Stage camera, which focuses on the user and can dynamically switch to landscape or portrait depending on who’s in the picture.
Additionally, the handset offers three 48-megapixel Fusion cameras on the back, with up to 4x optical zoom with 8x zoom with sensor cropping. It also features 40x digital zoom to get even closer pictures of the subject. The handset also comes with ProRes HDR, Dolby Vision and more Pro video features, with new support for ProRes Raw Capture, to help with high dynamic range video.
Also like the iPhone 17 Air, the handset features the A19 Pro, and also has more memory than the iPhone 17. The handset comes in Deep Blue, Cosmic Orange and Space Grey. All new iPhone models start with 256GB of storage.
