While the Google Home has supported Netflix commands from the beginning, it hasn’t supported its very own sibling product, Google Play Movies & TV.
Google has rectified that now, announcing the integration at its I/O 2018 developer conference. According to reports from Android Police, the functionality has already started to roll out.
Once the new voice option touches down in a given home, users of Google’s AI home speaker will be able to request that the device begin streaming movies in their Play Movies collection.
