Despite LG’s best efforts to trickle out information about its new flagship smartphone, the G6, on its own terms, the company has always been one step behind the leakers. On Wednesday morning, perennial leaker Evan Blass delivered the proverbial coup de grace in that conflict, sharing an official press render (pictured above) of the unreleased smartphone ahead of its scheduled reveal on February 26th at Mobile World Congress.
The photo doesn’t reveal a lot we didn’t already know about the G6, but it does provide a good look at the phone’s 5.7-inch QHD+ display, dual 13-megapixel rear camera setup and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Now that we’ve had several chances to look at the G6, what do you think of LG’s latest smartphone? Does it have strong enough design chops to take on Samsung’s upcoming curved display behemoth, even without the latest and greatest Qualcomm processor? Tell us in the comment section.
