After a sub-par second quarter, Samsung announced last month that it aimed to improve its earnings by “adjusting the price” of the Galaxy S6. It might have to do something with back to school season, but several carriers have slashed the two year cost of the GS6 by $100. Samsung has also promised to discount the Galaxy S6 edge, but that price drop has yet to come in to play here.
Big box retailer Best Buy Canada is offering the Galaxy S6 in various colour options. The 32GB version of the phone is available for $99 and $149 on Telus and Rogers, respectively. In addition, the 64GB model on Telus can be purchased for $149.99 on a two year term.
