Sony has added another Xperia smartphone to its arsenal. What is being dubbed as “the slimmest 5.3-inch phone,” the Xperia T3 is 7mm thick and is designed “exclusively for those looking to stand out from the crowd.” Similar to other recent Xperia smartphones, the T3 has a stainless steel frame with a matte plastic backing in either white, black or purple.
The LTE-enabled Sony Xperia T3 has a 5.3-inch Triluminos IPS display with 720p resolution (277ppi), runs Android 4.4 KitKat, a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 graphics, 8MP camera and a 1.1MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi with Miracast and DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and A-GPS and a 2500 mAh battery.
There Xperia T3 will launch globally from the end of July 2014 and there is no word yet on carrier partners. Also, no indication of price points.
